ASUS launched new touch screen computer

ASUS launched new touch screen computer, Eee Top ET1602 in the Indian market. It has some additional and simplified features. The PC has been equipped with 15.6 inch five-wired resistive touch panels which gives it attractive look and easy to use functionality. It can be operated with direct pressure of fingers which enhances its simplicity.

Eee Top ET1602 contains all touch-optimized applications and entertainment and communications facilities.

The Managing Director of ASUS (India), Mr. Albert Tung said, "With the launch of Eee Top ET 1602, ASUS has introduced its touch screen based technology in India and we are very much optimistic about making this technology popular amongst our potential customers in India."

The Company may launch new products in the high potential Indian market. ASUS has set a target to be a leading PC maker in India within few years.

Mr. Tung added, "In India ASUS is planning to create a different niche in the PC market which will be catered to by launching different innovative and technologically advanced products from ASUS."

He said that Eee would become popular among children and elders due to its easy to use and simple functionality.
